Ulcerative Colitis

Ulcerative Colitis

Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a chronic disease. That means it’s incurable. Medical science also has yet to figure out what exactly causes it, but it is thought to involve a combination of genetic, environmental, and immune factors. This study is designed to collect data about the safety and efficacy of an investigational treatment for UC. Researchers believe the investigational medication in this study, either by itself or in combination with other therapies, may be found effective in inducing clinical remission for those with UC.
  • You have moderate to severe ulcerative colitis.
  • You are 18 to 75 years of age.
  • Your symptoms have not been adequately controlled with standard-of-care treatments.

If you take part in this study, you will be in it for up to 69 weeks (about 16 months) and visit the study center about 20 times.
