RSV

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is a common virus that affects the nose, throat and lungs. It usually causes mild flu-like symptoms, but can be more serious in adults with chronic lung or heart diseases, or adults 75 ears of age and older.
Right now there are no approved antiviral treatments for RSV. That’s why we’re studying a new drug.
Early results in a small numer of participants have shown that it is well tolerated, and may be able to help fight the virus.
This study is to see how well it works in a larger group of patients.

Ulcerative Colitis

Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a chronic disease. That means it’s incurable. Medical science also has yet to figure out what exactly causes it, but it is thought to involve a combination of genetic, environmental, and immune factors.

This study is designed to collect data about the safety and efficacy of an investigational treatment for UC. Researchers believe the investigational medication in this study, either by itself or in combination with other therapies, may be found effective in inducing clinical remission for those with UC.
